Strategic Objectives:

Expand public understanding and appreciation of physical therapy, positioning it as an essential component of prevention, rehabilitation, and lifelong wellness across New Jersey.

  • Serve as the recognized thought leader and authoritative voice on all matters related to physical therapy — clinical, academic, legislative, and professional—within the state, offering trusted guidance to practitioners, policymakers, healthcare partners, and the public.
  • Effectively function as primary publicist and communications resource for its members:  Acting as the central media, messaging, and advocacy platform for amplifying member contributions, defending the integrity of the profession, and promoting the value of physical therapy through proactive media engagement, storytelling, and brand elevation.
  • Provide support, strategic tools, and educational resources to promote entrepreneurship, autonomy, self-reliance, and independence for all practicing physical therapists and physical therapist assistants — empowering them to build resilient practices, lead innovation, and serve their communities with confidence.
  • Act as a trusted partner to all accredited physical therapy education programs in New Jersey — collaborating to promote and shape the next generation of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants through shared expertise, mentorship, and clinical leadership.These programs include:
