APTANJ is hosting a very special online forum featuring two New Jersey-based leaders in their respective fields who contracted COVID-19 and spent months recovering.  Tune in to hear their stories and the way

Join APTANJ for our annual conference being hosted online. Sessions include “Serving the Underserved”, “COVID-19 and the Respiratory System”, “Ethics in Physical Therapy” and a keynote address from former Rutgers Football player and advocate for spinal cord research, Eric LeGrand.

October is Physical Therapy Month and we invite you to join us as we celebrate with MOVE-A-THON New Jersey.  Friday through Saturday, October 23 -25, APTANJ will be virtually hosting a movement weekend, where we are encouraging all physical therapy professionals, their families and their patients, to run, walk, bike, kayak to promote physical activity in New Jersey.

WEBINAR: "Striking a Balance: Balance Treatment Considerations for Effective Intervention"

Balance is an area of assessment and treatment familiar to all practicing physical therapists and physical therapy assistants. Patients in pediatric, adult orthopedic and neurorehabilitation across facilities in acute, sub-acute, and outpatient settings will all be, at a minimum, screened for balance deficits.
