Chronic Pain Treatment: Updating Your Toolbox (1.5 CEs)

The chronic pain patient presents therapists with a unique set of clinical challenges that often leave both patient and PT frustrated. Dr. Perny takes her learnings in pain neuroscience, her background in yoga and meditation, and her 13 years of clinical experience and puts them into a succinct program that will transform your care of these challenging patients. You will learn the basics of pain neuroscience, how to accurately categorize your patient’s pain, and be able to apply practical and impactful treatment solutions. Dr. Perny will demonstrate simple ways to incorporate powerful new treatment tools while still utilizing your unique skill set, allowing you to enhance patient outcomes. You will leave feeling empowered with a strategy to successfully treat the chronic pain patient.
